Dentistry interviews

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

In med applications, the interview is weighted a certain percentage depending on the school and their particular system. How is it weighted in Dentistry? Specifically for the Ontario schools. After you receive an interview, do they ONLY look at your performance in the interview in the final decision or do they look at everything?

Thanks!

I think for Western the rubric they gave was: 60% GPA, 25% interview, and 15% DAT marks (AA is all they look at post-interview).

For U of T, nobody knew the exact rubric, but it was speculated that it was: 60% GPA, 30% interview, 10% DAT marks. Then they have a personality test after your interview that counts for like 20% of your interview (or something along those lines)
