ahmajo
Hi guys I've been asking around and it seems that at some test sites examinees get ear plugs for their exam (the yellow things that go into your ears) while others get the large ear phones like construction workers use. Does anybody know exactly what is offered? I will be writing my exam in Toronto at Nordic College (222 Dixon). Thanks

MCATStrategy
I got the earphones in Kingston. You are welcome to bring your own ear plugs to the examination center. They have to be unopened and examined prior to the exam.
deeman101
I got the earphones at my test center (trios college??). It sucked! I couldn't hear ambient noise but it amplified the noise of the subway passing under the building! So I ended up just taking it off.
ahmajo
Yeah, I read that you could bring your own earplugs (MCAT Essentials PDF for 2009) but wasn't sure if all the sites were implementing this rule.
lixxx669
I got both earphones and ear plugs I chose ear plugs though. I think you can call the test center to confirm what you can get.
