Angelia
Hey, So I was also hoping for some friendly advice on this forum. I finished up my undergrad last year (biochem), and have been working in a research lab ever since. I'm trying to decide where to go from here. My undergrad marks are just average cgpa 3.6, and last 2yrs 3.7. I've been accepted to do a master's of public health this fall (12 month course based program), and also accepted to do a master's in epidemiology (research based). My ultimate goal is to obviously get into meds, so I know I have to improve my application. From these topic forums it seems that getting a second degree can sometimes be more of an advantage then getting a master's degree. So I am wondering whether or not I should maybe try and start a second degree this fall or start one of the master's programs? I'm really struggling with what to choose because I want to choose what will make me more competitive in the long run. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
