Illuminis
Hello, I'd appreciate if someone can enlighten me on this uncertainty (most likely UWO applicants to UofT dentistry). For UWO science students, we all generally take Biochem 2280 in our second year, but that's a half course. UofT requires a full year of general biochem though. All the other biochem courses at UWO are 3rd year and above, and are specialized. As a non-biochem major, will another course satisfy this requirement (i.e. cell biology, it's pretty similar content imo), or do I have to take a 3rd year biochem? Thanks. Synlar
I applied from UofT, and had BCH210 (half year biochem course in 2nd yr), and that's the only biochem course i took. I took cell biology, and that took care of my full year biochem prerequisite. email UofT admissions to make sure if your cell biology satisfies the requirement. Kittyp
I called them last year and they said that Biochem 2180 (taken in Fall term) and Cell Biology (taken in Winter term) both combined satisfy their full year requirement. You can still call them to confirm.

ad19
I emailed them last year about this exact question. Biochem 280a and Cell Bio 282b meet the requirement.
