goldenjai
Hi, I have been reading this forum for a while now and this is my 1st time actually posting a question. Is the UBC dental admission prerequisite courses same as other prerequisite courses for other dental university in Canada and in the State? So what I mean is, if i can apply for UBC dental school then i can apply for other dental school too right? Thanks
stresso
Generally, yes, but there might be the odd course that is required in addition to the common ones likes ochem, chem, bio, english, etc. like psych or whatever. For each school that you're applying to, you should look at their website and see if the prereqs are different. Some US schools may require a certain number of credits in the social sciences or calculus II. Again, check the website or buy the ADEA guide to dental schools
goldenjai
Thanks for you reply! Guess i should phone them to make sure. And one more question... Which dental school in Canada (or in the state) that only count the most recent 2 year undergraduate grade or top 2 or 3 undergraduate grade? For example i know western Ontario only count top 2 undergraduate. Thanks
