dubious
1) Invited 2) 3.73 best 2year GPA 3) 9/10/11/S 4) M.Sc student Think I just barely met the cutoffs. On my first MCAT I scored a 12/9/12/Q. I re-wrote it and got the score above. Wasn't happy at all with it, but I guess it was a good idea in the end

premed11
Got a rejection e-mail today. GPA 3.79 MCAT: 12/11/12/Q (previous 9/9/10/R, 12/8/14/Q) Screwed over two years in a row by queens. If they kept their cutoffs the same either last year or this year to the prior year's cutoff, i'd have at least gotten an interview.
blue2009
1) rejected 2) recent 2 years = 3.85 3) PS=8/VR=11/BS=12/WS=R 4) Graduated undergrad May 2009 Looks like I will be writing MCAT again - which would be my 3rd time writing - I have had unbalanced scores both times (10/10/10/O first time), sort of frustrating but oh well

hkmedic
Rejected OMSAS cGPA = 3.94 MCAT = 12/8/10/S 4th year undergrad Ya, I kinda expected it. My VR is on the very low side... Nonetheless, with that said, I am a bit surprised at some of the rejections. A lot of people seem to have very impressive MCAT scores.... :S

RandomGuy
Invited! Last two years GPA: 3.75 MCAT: 11/10/11/R Graduate applicant We already knew my MCAT would be okay, but I was somewhat worried about GPA. Remember that you can't use my GPA when trying to figure out the undergrad cutoff. I can't say that I feel more qualified for an interview (numbers-wise) than some of those who have posted rejections here, but I'll take what I can get. hopeforthebest
Invited! That's brutal, rainman. I suppose they need to impose arbitrary cutoffs at some point, but how can they justify not offering you an interview?
micro
It's been a while since I've posted here, glad to be back! 1) Invited 2) GPA: ~3.7 (OMSAS); ~3.9 (Queen's) 3) MCAT: 32R (VR=11, PS=10, WS=R, BS=11) 4) Undergraduate applicant (BSCH '09) I don't think my stats are too helpful w.r.t. deciphering the GPA/MCAT cutoffs.
