2010 Interview Stats (Invited and Rejected)

Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Forumers

I thought I'd make a preemptive attempt to organize efforts to decipher Queen's cutoffs this year.

Since they'll be sending them out as early as Wednesday and for nearly a month after that, if all those those that have received invites or regrets could come here, if they feel comfortable doing so, and report:

1) Invited or rejected

2) G.P.A. and whether you were using your cGPA or most recent 2 year GPA.

3) MCAT is the order of PS/VR/BS/WS

4) Undergrad or Graduate student.

Hopefully, we can deduce the cutoffs earlier on, and save many people who may not be invited until late January some potential anxiety and inbox checking.

Best of luck everyone!

Oh no... I actually got an email. Unsuccessful... :(. Sent at 2:39 PM

Was counting on this one.

1) Rejected

2) 3.85 (last 2 years)

3) 11/10/13/Q (34Q)

4) Undergraduate

Guess it was the Q that did me in... wow! Looks like another R year.

1) Rejected (not really suprised)

2) 3.4ish (Probably reason why I was rejected)

3) 8PS/11VR/10BS/Q

4) 4th year undergrad

Not suprising- if I would have gotten an interview, then I'd be shocked. Hoping McMaster's VR only makes up for my less-than-stellar (although very consistent) GPA.

Looking at the very prelim stats of the people who already posted... it looks like the WS cutoff is an R? Maybe?

I feel horrible for those who got rejected, but I can confirm that they are going as low as 9 in PS because I received an interview offer:

1) Invited

2) GPA = 3.98 (most recent 2 years)

3) 9/10/12/R

4) Undergrad

I was debating whether or not to rewrite last summer (I wrote at the end of my second year) and decided not to -- might have been a good call, because I'm not sure I could have repeated that R.
