Dr_Apt
Say you do really poorly during your last semester (without necessarily failing a course), what are the consequences with respect to your candidacy to any of the Ontario medical schools? mermaid
Well, in terms of future applications if that becomes necessary... you run the risk of having those last-semester marks reflect very poorly on your motivations the last semester of school! nemesis
Also, if you had a conditional offer (e.g. from Western) that was contingent upon final grades, then you could kiss that goodbye. If one does very poorly in their final semester (with or without an acceptance in hand) and it is for reasons outside of their control, then that's unfortunate; however, if it is your intention to do poorly or simply not put forth any effort in your final semester because of an acceptance or a reluctance to care, then I think that reflects the character of the student. Dr_Apt
hold on, I've never heard of these conditional offers. Are all acceptances at Western conditional upon final grades?
