Dreamcatcher
Hi all, I'm re-writing the MCAT in about a month and a half (yikes!) but may defer it to July. Anyways, I'm looking for Princeton Review prep books specifically for the Physical Sciences i.e. Physics and General Chemistry. I'm good with Bio and Verbal for now. What's irritating is that the new editions of the Princeton Review books are due to come out in July and it seems as if the older versions aren't available anymore at Amazon or Chapters (online). Urghhh! Perhaps I should visit Chapters to see if they have older stuff in person...
janny_jan
Do you live near or go to a university? MOst campus book stores have a shelf dedicated to test pre with a section of MCAT books. I know UWO and UBC do/did.
medhopeful64
hmmm, amazon does have the april 2010-2011 edition (cracking the mcat) - but that's the comprehensive full review book. If you are just looking for physical sciences though, yeah your right, they only have the july 2010 ones...try asking around to see if people still have their texts. Good luck! medhopeful64
also try your university library (they should have some on reserve), or career services
Dreamcatcher
Thanks for the advice! I will definitely look stuff up at a university bookstore + library. I'm in Toronto and did my undergrad at UofT (graduated a couple of years ago), hopefully my library card still works if I want to access material!
