Guest faraway03
Hello all, would appreciate some help here. May I know when and how long is the Christmas/New Year break (after the unit on Life Cycle) and when does the unit on Host Defence & Host Parasite end? Thanks! Guest dfenst
faraway, I, too, am starting this year so I don't know exactly when the 2 breaks begin and end, but when I have questions about curriculum, I usually check this year's curriculum online. If you haven't yet checked out the McGill Med e-curriculum, I suggest you do. The ecurriculum site is curriculum.mmi.mcgill.ca. Clicm on BOM and sign in as a guest. With a few clicks, I found that this years December break began Dec. 17 and school started up again Jan 6. The summer break begins June 21st and looks like it goes until Sep 17 or so. Guest med2006McGill
Actually, school starts again on Aug 25th for us, not September. The summer vacation is only 2 month long!
Guest faraway03
Thanks med2006McGill, I guess if it is starting a week earlier, the winter break would be earlier too!:rollin
Guest medicator007
Wishful thinking......end a week earlier, right:rollin For some reason that seems to defy all rational logic (though perfectly normal for McGill) they thought it necessary to tack on an extra week of class for us this fall..... heard its more epidemiology stuff, which remains to be seen.
