GLO
For the grad review, what happens if your Msc only consists of one or two courses (b/c it was research intensive)? Has anyone been in these shoes? How did they end up calculating your gpa?
Dr.Notyet
Hey, I'm sure lots of grad students have been in those shoes Here's the word, straight from the horse's mouth: http://admissions.medicine.dal.ca/gda.htm
doc2B
We didn't have too many people (if any) in this situation last year. Usually even research based master's programs have about 3 or 4 (sometimes more) courses throughout the degree. 2 is pretty low. They may average that the same as any grad program, but there's a possibility they may say there isn't enough coursework to use it, and just use undergrad. You can just let it go and see what they score it as, or you can try speaking with the office staff to find out what they will do for sure. lynn333
I got in this year with a research based MSc. They simply asked you to report your best year of your MSc if I remember, and I only had 3 classes so I put them down. If your undergrad gpa, mcat and grad degree are all of decent grades I would say apply and put down everything you can.
