Guest jeffsimz
what are your chances for an interview? Any stats on this? Thanks a lot. Jeff
Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Someone posted some (I think they were unofficial) numbers somewhere in this forum a few weeks ago. You might want to have a look for those. I believe, post-cut-off, an interview invitation boils down to the quality of your Ottawa sketch. (Please correct me if I'm totally up a gum tree on this one, Ottawa moderators.) Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest lsaville
Two years ago there were 2039 applications and of these 465 candidates were interviewed. Last year there were 2440 applicants and I can't find the number interviewed but it was similar to the number above. Offers for Admission are given based on your application and GPA. Good luck! -lsaville
Guest tappety tap
As far as I know, making the cutoff does NOT assure you an interview. As mentioned earlier, they also look at your autobiographical sketch. Good luck!
Guest peachy
I don't know the stats, but I do know two people who made the cutoffs and had (in my opinion) strong extracurriculars (both accepted to other Ontario medical schools) who did not get interviews at Ottawa.
