tamsdivision Posted July 24, 2010 Report Share Posted July 24, 2010 Hi everyone! I'm wondering what my next step should be and hoping for some advice. I have an ug degree in science. I had an interview at NOSM this year and was waitlisted (ranked), so this gives me hope for the future and I'd like to reapply. My dilemma is that I have just finished my 1st semester of medical school abroad. I've been thinking if deferring the program for a year, until i reapply to NOSM. It's a huge financial responsibility to attend med school abroad, so I want to reapply in Canada before I continue raking up more debt abroad. In the meantime, I'm thinking of going back to ug classes because I'm only missing 1 year to finish an Honors BA. Does this sound reasonable?? It's difficult to fathom postponing medical school when I'm already in it....however, my heart is set on NOSM and being near family. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
