Guest Tanya24
Take a look at some of the past threads for more detailed information. Here's what I took from the "good waitlist" thread: "Here are some real numbers from the Information sessions of 2003: 516 people interviewed (130 in French, the rest English) the top 123 given first round offers the bottom 250 given the bad waitlist letter thus, the remaining 143 get the good waitlist letter." The only other thing I can add is that they typically make 200-250 offers to fill up the class. Good luck!

Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Typically, the folks on the good waitlist have a decent chance of securing a UofO medical school seat; the folks on the bad waitlist tend not to be so fortunate. The UofO waitlist letters actually tell you on which list your name sits. Cheers, Kirsteen

Guest g22g
Hello Mydream, There are approximately 135 spots total. About 40 in the the francophone stream and the remainder in the anglophone stream. The number of quote spots is scheduled to remain the same for the next cycle. We have been growing for the last 3 years or more, but the final number depends on the after quota programs which are Military training program (usually the anglophone side) and the OUT of the province of Ontario and Quebec francophone program. They both usually have 6-8 spots. Good luck! g22g
Guest mistah anderson
Hi. Just to clarify about the good vs. bad waitlist thing. The only real difference between the two letters is a small statement towards the end of the letter. It will say something like: "Due to your position on our waitlist, we would advise you to make alternate plans for this coming September." It is the absence of that ominous statement that make your wailist letter a "good" one. However, be warned that U of O admin never releases your rank on the waitlist.
