As the end of the summer approaches, the beginning of a new life begins.

Welcome to U of O meds! Registration is on Tuesday the 2nd and the O-week is going to be great. Lots of new faces, exciting stories and of course, a beer or two (or 10 for my fellow UWO compadres).

I just wanted to wish you all a happy end of the summer, but more importantly congratulate you all on the first big step. Isn't it exciting?

See you all at the RGN Atrium, early in the mornin'!!!!

<title>What should I do?</title>

<pagetext>I want to apply to Ottawa in the fall of 2004, but I'm a bit confused as to whether I should just work this year and improve my non-academics or go back to school and take a full course load to inmprove my gpa. I've already completed a major and a minor and I've got one additional year as a special student. I live in Ottawa and according to the formula I've got a 3.67 gpa. I hear that the gpa cut for Ottawa residents has been 3.6 for the past 3 years. Ottawa also tells me that the final assessment is 90% interview and 10% gpa. I've got a biology major and and economics minor. I've worked on an undergrad research product and I've had about 5 years experience in the health care industry as a homesupport worker as well as work in hospitals and nursing homes. Should I go back to school and try to improve my gpa? Thanks.
