Guest V
As the end of the summer approaches, the beginning of a new life begins. Welcome to U of O meds! Registration is on Tuesday the 2nd and the O-week is going to be great. Lots of new faces, exciting stories and of course, a beer or two (or 10 for my fellow UWO compadres). I just wanted to wish you all a happy end of the summer, but more importantly congratulate you all on the first big step. Isn't it exciting? See you all at the RGN Atrium, early in the mornin'!!!! I've already completed a major and a minor and I've got one additional year as a special student. I live in Ottawa and according to the formula I've got a 3.67 gpa. I hear that the gpa cut for Ottawa residents has been 3.6 for the past 3 years. Ottawa also tells me that the final assessment is 90% interview and 10% gpa. I've got a biology major and and economics minor. I've worked on an undergrad research product and I've had about 5 years experience in the health care industry as a homesupport worker as well as work in hospitals and nursing homes. Should I go back to school and try to improve my gpa? Thanks.
