Guest NurseEpi
Hello All, I read a few threads back (from early 2002?) about how decisions are made re: offering graduate students interviews. They mentioned something about a point system, i.e., 2 points for a first-author published article, 1 point for second-author articles, abstracts, posters, letter from supervisor etc. and that one needs a minimum of 10 points to be granted the interview. Does anybody know anything about this? I'm assuming then that a grad student with a high WGPA and an excellent autobiographical sketch doesn't have a shot at an interview unless they've co-authored something around 10 articles or 5 first-authors, 10 abstracts/conferences etc. I'd appreciate someone's input as I don't think I have time to publish 10 articles between now and October 15:p Thanks
