doctordoctor Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 Hey, I am a medical student in India (M.B.B.S.) in my final year. I am also a Canadian Permanent Resident. The last year of my medical programme in India is a 1yr rotating internship. Is there any way in which i may complete the same in a Canadian medical school? This would also help clock a year in Canada. The US has the Fifth Pathway programme, for the same, though now only in the New York Medical College and being offered under a different name. It would allow IMGs to do their 1yr rotating internship in the US and have that time they spent accredited back in their home school in lieu of their internship. Hope you guys can help me out !
