astar44
Can anybody shed some light on the different overseas volunteer opportunities that are available for residents and GPs? I am aware of Doctors Without Borders but where can i learn about the other organizations that give physicians the opportunity to do humanitarian work? Any help would be appreciated! RN2MD
International/National Red Cross/Red Crescent societies, UN, are 2 biggies. A lot of smaller humanitarian organzations do overseas medical missions as well. Just google it.
