Drakoulias
NO, not the case. There must be a tremendous increase in the numberof francophone IP applicants this cycle. You're right...they just announced the no-MCAT policy in 2009, but this application cycle will be the first one where it applies. Now I'm getting worried, despite being in the IP category! I wonder just how many more IP applicants the change will bring!
mediman88
Hey guys! If McGill ruled out the MCAT this year, does it mean they will go look more into you Cegep science marks? I'm a university student finishing a bachelor and i was hoping they won't cause my marks at that time weren't great at all!

I'm a university student finishing a bachelor and i was hoping they won't cause my marks at that time weren't great at all! It would be to your advantage in this case to submit MCAT results (if they were at least decent). I think you're exactly right about the basic science marks being taken into account more now. deeman101
Good luck to everybody applying this year! McGill is very thorough in their feedback of your application. So you guys will be the guinea pigs to test the nuances of McGill's new admission system.
