Guest kornphan Posted February 25, 2002 Report Share Posted February 25, 2002 I have an interview at Ottawa next month, in talking to people that tell me that 'it's a dump', 'nothing to do and cold' 'people are very rude' 'you need to speak french' and better not go there !. Guest asdf Posted February 25, 2002 Report Share Posted February 25, 2002 I love Ottawa! It's a great place! Sure it is somewhat cold, but it's not that bad (plus it's beautiful in the winter). You do hear alot of french but you do not need to speak it at all. It's a beautiful city, with lots to do. Just my opinion, but I guess it depends on where you come from.
