Alia
Hi, I am IP, finishing my bachelor in biomedical sciences (at uOttawa, but living in Quebec). 1st year GPA : 3.3 2nd: 3.5 3rd: 3.8 4th (in completion): looks like it's going to be 4.0 So my CGPA is 3.5, but will be for next year's admission 3.65, which is not stellar. But I really had a "difficult" first year, and I have no good reasons for that (some people can say they had family problems, grief, health problems, etc). I just needed some time to adapt to university... Will McGill (or other Quebec school) consider my improvement, and the fact that my GPA for the last two years is 3.9? future_doc
Somehow, you will mention it in your narrative. Being IP, there is hope. The other parts of your application, i.e., LORs, ECs, volunteering should be as stellar as possible. GL!
