preppy038
I didn't apply but I did receive AP credits for all of my basic science courses. McGill doesn't give us too much information on this issue :S so idk how they would look at my application if I apply next cycle :s

Like you, ALL of my basic science courses, save Org Chem, were covered by AP. See here: http://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/general-requirements/basic-science-prerequisites "The Admissions Office may accept the following alternatives: Advanced Levels (UK System), IBO Courses (Higher Level), French Baccalaureate année Terminale, Série S courses, AP results (CollegeBoard, Inc.)." I know it says *may accept*, but they didn't give me any grief. The biggest obstacle is OOP vs. IP. McGill makes it nearly impossible for OOP. preppy038
Thanks a lot! Yeah I agree with you that the diff between IP and OOP is BIG. It makes me so sad that I'm an Ontario resident.
