Personal Narrative MMI Station

Hello,

In the interview invite it is stated that we will have ten 10-minute stations that can be discussion-based, task-based, etc...

In the past, McGill has employed a station that has been ~ 20 minutes long in which the personal narrative was in hand by the interviewer, and interviewees were asked specific questions regarding their narrative.

Does anyone know if a similar station to the one described above will be used this years interviews??

Thanks

Well last year we were invited to a googlegroups (like a discussion board) where we had the chance to ask questions and to be informed of the official news.

If you have not been invited to any googlegroup, it might mean that it is no longer used by the admission staff.

The applicants from university had only a 8-min station discussing one of their documents in their MMIs this year. It can be about your CV OR your personal narrative. I don't think they'll do a 20-minute long for CEGEP since you're about 12 students doing the interviews at the same time and it's a very well-synchronised process (everyone does the 8 min station, gets out 2 min, goes back in at the next door- all at the same time) No 20-minute station would fit.

Anyways, this station is about the things you did, and is probably the easiest one of the lot. After being kept on your toes for a couple of stations, you'll be happy talking about something familiar, like your volunteering habits and what's the hardest decision you had to take in your summer job.
