Erk
http://www.ucalgary.ca/emergencyplan/advisory The HSc building, which includes the Libin lecture theatre where we did the written portion, the Clara Christie theatre where we debriefed, and possibly some other areas where people interviewed (not my group so I'm not certain), is closed due to some pretty big burst pipe leakages and stuff. It's hard to picture the gong show that would have ensued if that had happened a few days earlier.
thatonekid
That is lucky. But I like to think that they had some kind of back up plan if the rooms weren't available. To be honest, I thought this thread was going to be about the weather. lol. Interviews were on a pretty warm weekend.
sparkles3288
There would be no backup as the entire building is shut down. Unless the maybe went to main campus. It's a gongshow here today.
Erk
Yeah. Even labs in HMRB and HRIC are heavily affected, although those buildings are still open. I mean, I'm sure they'd have figured something out somehow, but what a near miss.

I mean, I'm sure they'd have figured something out somehow, but what a near miss. From what I saw, HMRB is closed as well. The only areas that are unaffected are HRIC and TRW. What a wreck.
