Do American med schools look at where you did your undergraduate?

Beyond the big names like Uof T and McGill, American schools generally dont care since they dont know how good the schools are (ie they wont know the difference between ryerson and western)

 

The simple answer is yes, the institution which you did your undergraduate could impact their perception on the "rigor" of your program. As to what schools are more looked upon, I think we all know more or less.

agreed, U of T and mcgill are well known. Alberta also, and some know UBC, but thats pretty much it.
