I know a lot of our class came off the good waitlist within 3 weeks...so I would sit tight..I know someone who started studying and a week later got in...so wait a few weeks is my advice Good luck! Continue to live your life while applying (this is coming from one who worked and pursued other interests before taking the plunge). If you haven't written the MCAT, may as well study and rock it.
