how much time left

Just wondering, will the examniner tell you that you have only five minutes left or it is completely silent through out the entire test? Thanks.

I remember them telling you how much time you have left. When these warnings were made however, is a mystery to me at this point. I believe that there was one at the halfway point maybe one at 15 minutes and one at 5 minutes but I could be wrong. It isn't completely silent though so don't worry!

I think it's variable- the first time I wrote in Waterloo, the proctors were very strict about what could be on your desk and threatened to expel anyone whose watch beeped over the course of the exam.

The second time I wrote at Western and the proctors really didn't care- people had watches beeping the whole time (which was annoying). As for the time notification, I think that they only tell you that you have 5 minutes remaining. Not sure about 1 minute, though.
