Guest fedexh
I was looking at the FAQ section on the MUN Faculty of Medicine website. Specifically, I had a question regarding the answer given for the question "How is a bona fide resident of NL determined?" What do they mean when they say the applicant must be "currently living in the province for 5 years". Does this mean that you have to be living in NL for 5 years (consecutively) IMMEDIATELY prior to applying? In my situation, I grew up in NL, went to MUN for my undergrad, went to Ontario for 5 years, and now have been back in St.John's for 1.5 years completing my honours. I was wondering if I would be considered a bona fide resident now or do I have to wait another 3.5 years before being considered a bona fide resident? If anyone has any information to pass along concerning this topic it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Guest Ronin
I grew up in NL, went to Nova Scotia for undergrad, then moved to Ontario. All in all, I've been out of Newfoundland for 6 years...and I'm still considered "bona fide" I think you'd be fine, but you can always check with admissions.
