vdincale
Came across this interesting article, thought it was worth sharing. P.s. I can't believe science accepted this paper. http://www.chri.org/sites/default/files/June%2016,%202011_Ola%20Zalewski.pdf

Zarza
My first thought, was "of course it does!" but I think it's interesting that it's the chemicals in tears that turn men off, not the negative emotional/cultural appeal of crying.
cnb88
I think it's gotta be an evolutionary survival thing.... *Back in caveman days* Caveman woman: *crying eyes out* Caveman: "Hey baby let's send the kids out to walk the pet saber tooth tiger, we'll easily have half an hour of lovin'" Caveman woman: "WTF?! Can't you see I'm crying here?!?! What makes you think that my tears mean I'm in the mood?!?!?!" *hits caveman over the head with a club* Caveman: "Ow" *dies* As you can see, there would be an evolutionary advantage for men to be able to tell that when a woman is crying, she doesn't want any "lovin'"
Clever
I read about this in my sci am magazine. Having a girl who never cries would be awesome
Cnussey
Studied the actual paper (along with McClintok's Effect studies) in class. Pheromones are fun.
