Once we submit Step 1 will they be emailed confirmation that we listed them as a reference or will they only receive an email in a couple of months when they need to do the letter? I don't see anywhere so far in Step 1 that references are needed yet. I do see, however, that we need multiple "references" for the supplementary forms in Step 2 just so they can check to make sure we are not lying. towel Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 I had the same problem with being asked to fill them in a few days ago. Then, the "first" reference spot was take n out, but the second one was left there. Now, there is no spot for a reference. Also, I've never tried calling the admissions office because they seem to discourage this on the website, but you're probably better off because I've found they rarely write back via email.
