Any ex-nurses here that can share their experiences about being an RN going to med school? My most important questions are: did you work as a nurse before going to med school? How did you manage working as a nurse and prepping for the MCATs? AND what were your employer's opinions of you when/if they found out you were going to med school? did you even tell them? did you ask them for references? Were they supportive or did they discriminate for not being 'committed' enough? All these things really worry me, especially since I know I have to return to school after I graduate to get my med school pre reqs.
