YayRehabScience
Hey Guys, I'm really curious to see what the competitive GPAs are for each OT program year to year, and I know some of the websites don't say what they are. I'm wondering if anyone has any updated information for various schools? I've heard that the competitive GPAs are (from West to East-ish): UBC: B+ (3.3?) Alberta: 3.45 Manitoba: don't know UWO: 3.5 - 3.7 McMaster: 3.47 Toronto: 3.7 Queen's: 3.48 UOttawa: don't know McGill: Don't know Dalhousie: 3.5 Any information/clarification would be greatly appreciated! It just helps to know what I'm up against.
YayRehabScience
However, from reading these forums it seems like these values may have changed.

OThopeful
I know for UofA last years lowest admitted (sub)GPA was 3.32 and someone mentioned that the year before lowest was 3.28 i think. I just received an offer of admission for UofA and I believe my (sub)GPA was between 3.55 to 3.6 (not exactly sure, went to a couple different unis with different grade scales). You could email each uni and ask for the stats for the previous couple years admissions offers (number of applicants. lowest GPA admitted etc). I'm sure they'd be able to release that info. Let us know what you find out! Cheers! ~former OThopeful, now OT Student!!!
