Wacom Tablet or pen & paper?

Currently debating whether to buy a graphic tablet for note taking mostly, or just stick with pen and paper.

No way I'll buy a tablet PC since I'm trying to build a desktop

I'm looking at the Intuos4 Medium tablet

I do some design work, but since I can't draw, a tablet's kind of useless?

IMO. I bought a wacom and then returned it. Its very hard to take notes in class on a tablet when you can't see the page you are writting on. A comp tablet is much better.

I fully agree with this. I have one and I just love it. I would never go back to a laptop + graphics tablet combination.

I found my dad's wacom to be a bit hard to write with and unresponsive at times - I tried it in one of my university classes, didn't work very well. Tablets are evidently the way to go these days.

I own a wacom tablet. While these are very good for doing art on the pc, I was not able to find any use for it while taking notes. A pen and paper is definately better.
