JP2118
Hi all, I thought I'd get some feedback on my chances just based on GPA and MCAT. I know it's a very broad question, considering the amount of schools in the US. However, as much feedback you can give me (like what school I would/wouldn't have a shot at) would be much appreciated! Canadian citizen AMCAS Undergrad GPA (I think): 3.76 AMCAS Grad GPA: 3.85 MCAT (taken 3 times): 31R Thanks!
deathvvv
subsections? a 31 is good, but not if its something lik 15 15 1. Assuming relatively balanced (everything 9-11), you have good shots at low tiers like wayne, gwu, rfu, jefferson etc (based purely on accepted stats)
JP2118
My specific MCAT scores were PS12 BS11 VR8 WSR When you say low tier, what exactly does that mean? Rosalind Franklin and Wayne are good schools, right?
filter105
yes they are good schools but are considered low-tiered. And they are Canadian -Fav, because they are more likely to accept you as an applicant. you will have a good chance if you apply early next year. (June/July) By September you are middle of the pack, and screening will take a >month and you will lose advantage. you can still apply this year of course (app due December), except it's pretty late so you will have to impress ad com alot to get an interview
