translating documents

I am from a French university. I know that the Dean's letter will be sent bilingually to CaRMS. but for the rest:

1) transcript

2) rotation/elective evaluations

 

do I have to get each one of them translated by a professional all by myself?

Hi there,

 

I'm in the same boat. My school takes the responsability of translating the evals of the rotations. However, for the rest (transcripts, reference letters) we are on our own. The documents are indeed to be translated by a member of the Ordre des Traducteurs (OTTIAQ). It is a major pain and can also be quite expensive.

-transcript you need to do it yourself (and most translators require an official document to translate)

 

-evals from your rotations should be translated by the faculty since they are sent directly to carms. You need to request this though, and is probably school-dependent.
