Best area to focus a cardiology research project?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, wasn't sure where to post this, but I thought this might be the best place. Basically I'm about to start a cardio elective, and my supervisor has offered for me to complete a cardio teaching tool-type research project. I haven't taken cardio yet (i'm med ii), so I'm wondering, for those of you who have taken cardio, if you were starting fresh in the area, which particular topic/focus would be most beneficial to learn clinical cardiology and the heart in general? To give you an idea, my supervisor has offered several different choices, including case studies of ecg's, pressure differentials throughout the heart, hemodynamics, etc. What would give me the greatest bang for my buck, in terms of useful learning? Thanks!
