cg87
I'm studying for Step 1, beginning this January, and plan to take it in March. If anyone is interested in a study group (2-3 people) in Vancouver, send me a PM.
leviathan
I might be in Vancouver studying for step 2 at that time. If we can get a small group together, I could help you guys out with the more clinically focused topics on step 1.
Pantaloons
Hey, I've already written the USMLE, but I just thought I'd pipe in to recommend 1) USMLE World Qbank 2) Doctors-In-Training Lectures 3) First Aid text USMLE World Qbank is a bit pricey, but well worth the investment. DIT is an expensive course, but you might be able to find a free version of it online. First Aid is, of course, essential. Good luck!
leviathan
Agreed about USMLEWorld, definitely a must. Never did DIT but I heard it's great too. I watched an hour of the Step 2 videos for DIT and wasn't impressed, but maybe I didn't give it a fair chance, or the DIT Step 2 videos are <<< step 1 videos. I have all the resources like First Aid, Goljan, some videos. I bought Uworld, and have even used it for my classes down here at St. George's. Very useful. Thanks again. Cocopuff
I'll be in Vancouver until late March studying for the USMLE Step 1 exam, and I was hoping to find a study partner/group to prepare with. If you're interested, please send me a message. Cheers!
