johkim
Hi everyone, Hopefully someone can help me answer this question I am currently attending ubc med but really like to do some summer research at UAlberta. Does anyone know anyone who has done something like this? If yes, how do they get funding to work in a different province? (I know each schools offer SSRP stipend, but since I am not a UAlberta student, am I not eligible for UofA SSRP program?) Thanks in advance! McGillLabRat
Well I researched at Sick Kids hospital with UofT over the summer (non-paid) and I go to McGill. I think it's the same as going to your own university. Contact the professor you're interested in and ask for spots? Applying for grants (like NSERC) would be a separate process for each University you apply to, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
