AlvanBuckley
Hi everyone, I'm an Engineering student at U of Waterloo (UW) and plan to apply for med school at U of T for 2013. I saw that one of the prerequisites was: "two full-course equivalents (FCE) in any life science". I'm curious what FCE actually means. A course at UW lasts 4 months. Does that count as a FCE or half a FCE...? Thanks in advance! Alvan
dassy
FCE stands for full credit equivalency. It's a course that lasts the whole year or two half courses. So your course that lasts for 4 months is half a FCE.
