Genemo Posted January 30, 2012 Report Share Posted January 30, 2012 I think the problem is you dont get those credits counted into your GPA. So if you are taking one course like that, according to how ubc calculates your GPA its like you neven took that course. I dont see how that can hurt you but its just extra work for no benefit. And also you cant take mandatory courses with that option, so you cant get rid of a potential low score anyways. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

iwh333 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 ^ I am fairly certain you cannot. Should email them though. Logic behind it is how would they calculate your pre-req average then? Though I remember emailing U of A regarding one of their physics pre-req and they said it can be done via credit/no credit. Not sure what it is now though. Best to email them.
