Octavarium
I'm 2nd year student at an American undergraduate university. I came in with a lot of AP credits, so i'll be able to graduate at the end of my junior year, which is also when I'll be applying to med schools. Now I'm wondering what are my options for things to do in that gap year that will strengthen my med school application. So far, I know that I could try to the get a job in the medical field, attend a one year grad program, or do research. Are there any other options I'm missing? JMagic
Travel and get a work visa. Get experience from other countries and broaden your perspective, I'm sure you'll see interesting stuff from different places. You don't even have to work just getting out there gives you so much experience, especially if you never left the country.
