notetaker job

i got this email in my inbox today:

 

A student with a disability in your --- 304, Sec. 002 class requires a notetaker starting the first or second week of classes. Please drop-off your application by following the instructions below.

 

The job pays $9.00 per hour and involves photocopying your notes or using NCR paper. This position is being posted by the Access and Diversity Office, UBC.

 

has anyone else done this? is it a good way to make extra money when you're going to be in class anyway?
