GPAs and MCAT scores???

i just wanted to get an idea about the applicant pool for this year. so, if you will be or have applied to an ontario medical school, could you please post your gpa and mcat scores.

 

 

also, if you recently have been given admission to a medical school, could you post your stats as well as what schools you have been given admission to.

Hi there,

 

There are hundreds and thousands of applicants to the Ontario medical schools each year (numbers of thousands if you apply to McMaster or Ottawa). Unless at least thirty or more students respond to your post, you will most lilkely receive an inaccurate estimate of the average GPA or MCAT scores of those applying to Ontario medical schools this year. Added, there may be the possibility of encountering some of the more diligent students here, therefore, it may exacerbate that estimate. Further, those who respond may be more likely to be those who have a little more confidence/pride in reporting their higher GPAs and/or MCAT scores. (Good for them, but FYI. )

 

Overall, you might wish to spare yourself the worry, unless your query is purely out of interest.
