cis_man
When doing verbal I find that I start thinking about the last passage while reading the current passage. How do you stop thinking about he last passage and keep focusing on the passage you're reading?
Savac
Well, this is nearly impossible for me to answer since I'm not inside your head Given that, here's my suggestion. Take a few deep breaths between each passage. Use this time to clear your head and focus on the task at hand.

Take a few deep breaths between each passage. Use this time to clear your head and focus on the task at hand. This is what I do as well. It's one EK's strategies that I've adopted. Before each passage, I take 5 seconds to take deep breaths, take my eyes off the screen, and stretch. After the 5 seconds I'm ready to dive right into the next passage. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.
