Parachute
Hi, I'm a 4th year UfT student applying for Dentistry this year at Uft and Western. I was wondering if there are any restrictions on what courses I take in my final year because I couldn't find anything on their websites that told me otherwise. I've finished all my major requirements (in Neuroscience and Biology) and I'm planning to take some 2nd year Pysch courses and some 1st year Environment courses. Is this alright to do? Or should most of my courses be 4th year or 3rd year courses?
Legion
As far as I know, neither school cares about the level of courses you take.
Coolio
Hello, I asked the same question to both schools just a few weeks ago. UofT does not have any specfic requirement --they don't care. UWO, you are only allowed to have 1 first year course in 3rd or 4th year. Other than that, you can take as many or as little 2nd, 3rd, 4th year courses.
Legion
So they expect everyone to call them and ask whether there is a limit of 1st year courses they can take in their 4th year? Why not just mention it on their admission page just like their med school?
MCATwannabe
Not really true. They only take best two years really, so the best two years could be first two, middle two, or last two. Special years (additional years taken after graduation), however, need 2nd year and above courses.

Attention to details is key I keep mixing up best and last 2 years it's probably because my last 2 IS my best 2.
