markov79 Posted September 5, 2012 Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 or 1 page single spaced? i doubt they have a limit if it's not explicitly stated. so the rule of thumb then becomes "however short or long it needs to be to get the message across". however, i'm not well-versed in the art of reference-writing, so maybe someone else, indeed, has a better answer. (it could be something like "generally, people keep it to 1 page", etc). but again i would think that the person could just use his/her judgement. hope it helps... open to correction.
