kreplach43
Hello everyone, I was wondering what you guys thought of the idea of taking English in 4th year of undergrad so that I can apply to more medical schools in Canada. I haven't taken English since high school and I am somewhat worried about my GPA. My GPA is currently 3.72 and I noticed that (most) schools do not want your GPA to drop below 3.70, I have sufficient reason to be worried. This is supposed to be an easier level English course (full-year) and I am hoping to land =< 80% in the course....but that is hope nonetheless.... thoughts? NeuroPreMed
Where are you applying? Like you said you'd like more opportunity, personally I'm in English now and as stupid as I think it is a 3.7 is classified as 80% in this course (basic level English 102) so it shouldn't be that hard to attain. I'm unsure how it is at other schools outside of Alberta however.
