Guest brandonitejr Posted June 14, 2005 Report Share Posted June 14, 2005 No, you don't need first aid or CPR before you start... there's opportunities throughout your first couple of years to take it. Although if you can take it, I'd recommend that you do, it might be nicer to take it during your summer than spending a weekend later during class time. As for O-week... Guest summervirus Posted June 15, 2005 Report Share Posted June 15, 2005 Hi there, CPR is mandatory for students to complete prior to beginning clerkship. The UofA pays for and registers all third year medical students in a course in the transition between second and third year of med school.
