Degree of difficulty as an anglophone at UdeM

How hard is it to be an anglophone at UdeM with regard to classes and exams?

I don't have a problem with french on a day-to-day basis and I didn't have any problems at the UdeM interview, but my medical/science vocabulary in french is nil and my general french vocabulary is not nearly as developed as it is in english. When I hear french medical terms for the first time, it just sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher is speaking. English cegep, english university and entire work experience has been in english.

Given that some specialist residencies are extremely competitive, if I were lucky enough to be accepted, I'm concerned that in the first year of med school that it would take for me improve my french, my grades would be below my potential in english and that it would hurt my chance for a competitive residency down the line.

I would really appreciate it if someone were kind enough to share their experience.
