Hi everyone,

How's studying going for the finals?

I am just wondering if any of you knows how picky the schools are in terms of "maintaining your GPA in your final year" even if you are granted admission?

I had all my pre-reqs done already, but my GPA this term is going down down down...... I know the it is not going to be used to calculate admission decision, but what if they change their mind later when they find out my grade for this year!!!:(

Thanks in advance!

ubc does not look at final year at all, since their requirement is 3 yrs of undergrad.

mcgill looks at final year and expect it to be at equivalent level as your application gpa, since their requirement is that you have an undergrad degree.

not sure about the other schools. hope this helps

UofA looks at your best 3 of 4 years, providing your last year was not your worst year. If your last year was your worst year then it is used in calculating you overall GPA. One should keep that in mind if they are appling at the U of A, some people overlook it and tank thier 4th year b/c they have good prereq's and 3 good years under thier belt.
